Enjoy the state’s Free Fishing Day at Lake Selmac and Expo Pond in the Rogue Valley. The day provides an opportunity to teach youth how to fish and for adults to get tips on a variety of local fishing information.

If you’re poetry lover, spend a night out listening or reading a variety of poetry with other poetry lovers. The event takes place at the Grants Pass Museum of Art in downtown every second Friday of the month.

Boatnik is annual event held every Memorial Day weekend since 1959. The event starts on Thursday and concludes on Memorial Day. Throughout the event you’ll enjoy carnival rides, jet boat races, contests, vendors, a parade, live entertainment and more.

Meet and greet with local authors and artists while perusing arts, crafts and antiques at the Historic Wolf Creek Inn. In addition to the local art scene you’ll enjoy live music and a patio sandwich buffet.

Jumpstart summer with Troon Vineyard for a weekend of wine country fun! Come taste new wine releases poured by Troon Vineyard’s knowledgeable and friendly staff. You can also preview the summer menu, listen to live music or play a friendly game of bocce ball.

Buck Canyon Gardens is hosting their annual Peony Show, serving northern California and southern Oregon. This event takes place every year during the peak of peony flowering. Iris are also in bloom during the show as well as many companion plants. Come early for best selection of iris and intersectional peonies.

Take a break from Boatnik on Saturday and head over to the baseball field in Riverside Park for the Rogue Valley Wine & Brewfest. Sample six different beers and wines and take home a souvenir pint or wine glass while you’re at it! Over a dozen local breweries and wineries are participating making this an excellent opportunity to sample some of our local flavors.

The Josephine County Fairgrounds exhibition hall will have hot deals during this June. Grants Pass exhibitors come from all over Southern Oregon to be at this show.

Get outside and enjoy the scenic Rogue River while listening to some free live music, with the summer Concerts in the Park series. Every Tuesday night beginning at 7PM, Riverside Park hosts live bands.
